- Day 1: Marrakech ⇒ Atlas Mountains ⇒ Ouarzazate ⇒ Tinghir
Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from Marrakech airport and from your accommodation in Marrakech. Travel through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m), stopping to admire panoramic views and visit traditional Berber villages. Arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” and explore the famous Atlas Film Studios and Taourirt Kasbah.
Continue your journey through the Valley of Roses and the Dades Valley, stopping at Tinghir, home to the breathtaking Todra Gorges, a stunning canyon with towering cliffs. Enjoy free time to explore and soak in the natural beauty. Overnight in a charming guesthouse or hotel in Tinghir.
- Day 2 : Tinghir ⇒ Merzouga Desert (Luxury Camp)
After breakfast, depart Tinghir and travel through scenic landscapes toward the Sahara Desert. Pass through Berber villages like Erfoud, known for its fossils, and Rissani, the gateway to the desert. Arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll embark on a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Reach your luxury desert camp nestled in the heart of the Sahara just in time for a magical sunset. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the starry sky, followed by Berber music around the campfire. Overnight in your private luxury tent.
- Day 3 : Merzouga ⇒ Draa Valley ⇒ Marrakech
Rise early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast at the camp, return to Merzouga by camel or 4x4. Begin your journey back to Marrakech, passing through the lush Draa Valley and the scenic Anti-Atlas Mountains.
Stop along the way at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an iconic filming location for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass once more and arrive in Marrakech by evening. The tour concludes with a drop-off at your accommodation.
