The full itinerary:
- Day 1: Marrakech ⇒ Atlas Mountains ⇒ Ouarzazate
Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech. Cross the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with stunning views of valleys and Berber villages. Stop to explore the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for Game of Thrones and Gladiator.
Continue to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco,” and visit the Atlas Film Studios and Taourirt Kasbah. Overnight in Ouarzazate at a traditional hotel or riad.
- Day 2 : Ouarzazate ⇒ Dades Valley ⇒ Todra Gorges ⇒ Merzouga Desert (Luxury Camp)
After breakfast, travel along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the Valley of Roses and the scenic Dades Valley. Stop at the dramatic Todra Gorges, where towering cliffs create a stunning canyon.
Continue through Erfoud and Rissani before reaching Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Take a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach your luxury desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars, accompanied by Berber music. Overnight in a private tent.
- Day 3 : Merzouga ⇒ Midelt ⇒ Fez
Start your day with a spectacular sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel or 4x4 and set off for Fez. Travel through the scenic Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views and photos, then continue to Midelt, where you’ll have a leisurely lunch.
Pass through the cedar forests near Azrou, home to playful Barbary macaques, and the charming town of Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Arrive in Fez in the evening and check into your riad for the night.
- Day 4 : Fez ⇒ Rabat
Spend the morning exploring Fez’s highlights, including its UNESCO-listed medina, vibrant souks, and historic landmarks such as the Quaraouin Mosque and the Royal Palace gate.
After lunch, travel to Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. Visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the charming Oudayas Kasbah. Enjoy an evening in Rabat with an overnight stay.
- Day 5 : Rabat ⇒ Casablanca
After breakfast, journey to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city and economic hub. Explore the iconic Hassan II Mosque, an architectural masterpiece overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and stroll along the lively Corniche.
Enjoy some free time for shopping or relaxing before concluding your tour with a drop-off at Marrakesh airport or at your preferred location in Casablanca or Marrakech.
