The full itinerary:

• Day 1: Fez ⇒ Midelt ⇒ Ziz Valley ⇒ Errachidia ⇒ Erfoud ⇒ Rissani ⇒ Merzouga Desert

Your journey begins with an early morning departure from Fez, traveling through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known for its charming alpine-style architecture, and pass through the cedar forests of Azrou, home to playful Barbary macaques.

Continue south to Midelt, where you’ll enjoy a relaxing lunch, then journey through the stunning Ziz Valley, with its lush palm groves and dramatic cliffs, passing through Errachidia.

Stop in Erfoud, known for its fossils and ancient history, and continue to Rissani, a historic town with bustling souks. Arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert, in the late afternoon.

Embark on a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, enjoying a magical sunset before reaching your luxury desert camp. Savor a traditional Moroccan dinner and stargaze under the vast desert sky. Overnight in a private tent.

• Day 2 : Merzouga ⇒ Alnif ⇒ Agdez ⇒ Ouarzazate

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes and enjoy a traditional breakfast. Return to Merzouga by camel or 4x4 and set off toward Alnif, passing through the dramatic desert landscapes.

Continue to Agdez, nestled in the Draa Valley, known for its vast palm groves and traditional kasbahs. Enjoy the scenic drive along one of Morocco’s most picturesque routes before arriving in Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Visit the historic Taourirt Kasbah and explore the city’s unique blend of desert charm and cinematic history.

Overnight in a cozy riad or hotel in Ouarzazate.

• Day 3 : Ouarzazate ⇒ Ait Ben Haddou ⇒ Tizi n’Tichka Pass ⇒ Marrakech

Start your day with a visit to the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village famous for its appearance in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Wander through its ancient alleys and admire its stunning architecture.

Cross the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views and photo stops along the way.

Arrive in Marrakech, where the vibrant energy of the city awaits. Visit the bustling Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, the Koutoubia Mosque, and explore the colorful souks. Overnight in a traditional riad in Marrakech.

• Day 4 : Marrakech ⇒ Return to Fez

Begin your journey back to Fez, traveling through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you reflect on the incredible experiences of your trip. Arrive in Fez in the evening, where the tour concludes.
