The full itinerary:
- Day 1: Fez
Welcome to Fez! Upon arrival at Fez airport, you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to your riad. Spend the day exploring Fez’s UNESCO-listed medina, a labyrinth of narrow streets filled with vibrant souks, historic mosques, and madrassas. Visit iconic sites like the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Quaraouin Mosque, and the lively tanneries. Overnight in a traditional riad in Fez.
- Day 2 : Fez ⇒ Midelt ⇒ Merzouga Desert (Camel Trek)
After breakfast, leave Fez and travel through the picturesque Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane, the "Switzerland of Morocco," and the cedar forests of Azrou, home to Barbary apes. Stop for lunch in Midelt, then continue to Merzouga via the dramatic Ziz Valley. Upon arrival, embark on a camel trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to witness a magical sunset. Spend the night in a luxury desert camp under a starry sky, enjoying traditional Berber music and a delicious dinner.
- Day 3 : Merzouga ⇒ Todra Gorges ⇒ Dades Valley
