The full itinerary:

• Day 1: Ouarzazate ⇒ Agdez ⇒ Rissani ⇒ Merzouga Desert

Your journey begins with an early departure from Ouarzazate, heading through the scenic Draa Valley. Stop in Agdez to explore its serene palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Continue to the historic town of Rissani, known for its traditional markets and rich cultural heritage.

Arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert, in the late afternoon. Embark on a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, watching a spectacular sunset along the way.

Spend the night in a luxury desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber music, and a starlit sky. Overnight in a private tent.

• Day 2 : Merzouga ⇒ Erfoud ⇒ Tinghir ⇒ Todra Gorges

Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the Sahara dunes, followed by a hearty breakfast. Return to Merzouga by camel or 4x4, then journey to Erfoud, a town famous for its fossil workshops and unique geological history. Continue to Tinghir, a lush oasis town surrounded by palm groves and dramatic cliffs.

Explore the breathtaking Todra Gorges, where you can take a walk along the river and admire the towering rock formations. Enjoy lunch in the gorge before heading to a nearby guesthouse for your overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Tinghir ⇒ Kalaat Mgouna ⇒ Skoura ⇒ Ouarzazate

After breakfast, travel through the scenic Dades Valley, often called the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs,” with opportunities to stop for stunning photos. Pass through Kalaat Mgouna, the center of Morocco’s Valley of Roses, where you can explore local cooperatives that produce fragrant rose products.

Continue to Skoura, known for its sprawling palm groves and the historic Amridil Kasbah, a beautifully preserved example of traditional Berber architecture.

Arrive back in Ouarzazate in the late afternoon, where your tour concludes.
